New Emirates partnership to enable crypto transactions
Integration of Crypto.com Pay expected by next year
DUBAI: Emirates has entered into a strategic agreement with Crypto.com to explore the integration of Crypto.com Pay into its payment systems.
The move is aimed at offering customers greater flexibility while adhering to the highest standards of security and compliance. Integration is expected to be rolled out next year.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline & Group, and Michael Doersam, Emirates’ Chief Financial & Group Services Officer. Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, and Mohammed Al Hakim, President of Crypto.com’s UAE operations, formalised the agreement.
Kazim stated that partnering with Crypto.com aligns with Emirates’ commitment to adapt to evolving customer preferences. He noted that the collaboration would help engage younger, tech-driven customer segments and reflects Dubai’s ambition to lead in financial innovation.

Emirates and Crypto.com
Eric Anziani, President and COO of Crypto.com, said the partnership would contribute to wider cryptocurrency adoption and provide innovative financial solutions. He emphasised the importance of working with established partners like Emirates to drive momentum in the digital assets sector across the GCC.
As part of the collaboration, the two entities will also pursue promotional marketing campaigns to drive awareness and encourage usage of Crypto.com Pay.
Founded in 2016, Crypto.com serves over 100 million customers globally and is recognised for its strong compliance, security and privacy standards. The company’s vision is to place “Cryptocurrency in Every Wallet™️.”
Dubai’s crypto ecosystem
